Before you buy
Will it fit my oven, and which size should I choose?
Measure the inside width of your oven and leave about 3cm clear on each side so air can still move. The Round at 30cm suits compact and countertop ovens. The Hero at 40 by 35cm fits most standard built-in ovens. The Pro at 45 by 35cm needs a full-width oven, and its 10mm holds more heat for back-to-back bakes. If you are unsure, send us your oven model on WhatsApp and we will tell you which one fits.
Will it rust, and how do I clean it?
Carbon steel can rust if it is left wet, so the whole routine is: hot water and a brush, no soap, dry it straight away, then a thin wipe of oil. That takes about a minute. Never put it in the dishwasher, and skip the detergent, because both strip the seasoning. Every plate arrives already seasoned, and the seasoning layer gets darker and more non-stick the more you bake.
What are delivery and returns like?
We deliver across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait and Bahrain. Riyadh usually arrives in 2 working days, the rest of the Kingdom in 2 to 4, and the other GCC countries in 5 to 7. Delivery is free over 300 SAR anywhere we ship, otherwise 25 SAR inside the Kingdom and 60 SAR outside it. Unused plates in their original packaging can be returned within 14 days for a refund of the item price. Anything that arrives damaged or faulty is replaced or refunded free, and we cover the shipping both ways.
Do I need to season it first?
No need: every plate leaves us fully seasoned and ready to bake straight out of the box. If you would like to build the patina even further, an extra oil-and-bake never hurts, and the steps are in the care guide.
Is it heavy? How do I handle it?
Yes, and that weight is the point: it is what stores the heat. The Round is 4.2kg, The Hero 6.6kg, The Pro 12.4kg. The Hero and The Pro have two lifting holes so you can move them with oven gloves and a firm grip. In practice you slide the plate onto a rack once and leave it there, so you are rarely lifting it hot.
Does it work in gas and electric ovens, or on a grill?
All of them, and it is not fussy. It also works on a stovetop or a BBQ. Put it on an upper rack, run the oven at its highest setting for 45 minutes, and bake straight onto the steel. Gas, electric and fan ovens all reach the temperature it needs.
A fair, simple policy
Return an unused plate in its original packaging within 14 days of delivery for a full refund of the item price. Return shipping is covered by the customer.
Arrives damaged or with a manufacturing fault? We send a free replacement or full refund, and we cover the return shipping both ways.
Once we receive and inspect your plate, the refund is issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
For hygiene reasons, a plate that has been seasoned or used cannot be returned unless it is defective. To start a return, message us using the form above or on WhatsApp with your order number.
