1. Who is responsible for your data
صاج Baking Plate is operated by Namerah Co. for Steelworks, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (CR 7001347603, VAT 300049308700003). We are the controller of the personal data you share with us on bakingplate.com.
2. What we collect
We collect what we need to fulfil your order: your name, mobile number, email, and delivery address; your order and payment status; and messages you send us. We also collect basic technical data such as device and browser type to keep the site working.
3. How we use it
To process and deliver your order, issue tax invoices, provide support, and send occasional updates (only if you opt in). We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
4. Payment data
Payments are handled by Moyasar, a licensed Saudi payment provider. Your full card details are entered directly with Moyasar and are never seen or stored on our servers. We only receive confirmation of whether a payment succeeded.
5. Sharing with partners
We share the minimum necessary with the services that run the store: our delivery courier (name, address, phone for the drop-off), Moyasar, email/WhatsApp providers used to confirm orders, and, only if you allow it, Microsoft Clarity for anonymous page recordings. All are bound to protect your data.
6. Cookies and analytics
Your browser keeps your cart and language on this device so they are there when you come back. To understand which pages help people and where they get stuck, we count visits in our own system without cookies: which pages are opened, for how long, how far they are scrolled, and which shopping steps are reached. It does not store your IP address or anything that identifies you, and a visit cannot be linked to you from one day to the next. If you allow it, Microsoft Clarity also records how pages are used (scrolling, taps and clicks) to show us what is confusing. Anything you type is hidden from it, and pages with your own details, such as checkout, your account and order tracking, are hidden entirely. Clarity is never loaded unless you choose Allow, and you can change your choice at any time from Cookie preferences at the bottom of every page. If you answer the optional question about what stopped you buying, we keep your answer without your name.
7. Retention
We keep order and tax records for as long as Saudi tax and commercial law requires. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.
8. Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to stop marketing to you, by contacting us. We respond within a reasonable time and in line with Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
9. How to delete your data
Email info@bakingplate.com from the address on your account, or message us on WhatsApp from your registered number, with the subject "Delete my data". Include your name and order number if you have one. We confirm within 30 days and erase your account, contact details and message history. Order and tax records are kept for the period Saudi tax law requires, after which they are deleted too. You can also turn off email updates yourself at any time from your account page or the unsubscribe link in any email.
